A datalogger demonstration of electromagnetic induction with a falling, oscillating and swinging magnet
They investigate the electromagnetic induction phenomenon for a falling, oscillating and swinging magnet and a coil, with the help of a datalogger. For each situation, they discuss the salient aspects of the phenomenon, with the aid of diagrams, and relate the motion of the magnet to its mathematical and graphical representations.

Cylindrical Magnets and Coils: Fields, Forces, and Inductances
This paper presents a synthesis of analytical calculations of magnetic parameters (field, force, torque, stiffness) in cylindrical magnets and coils. (for experienced students)

On the nonlinear electromagnetic coupling between a coil and an oscillating magnet
This paper uses basic principles to develop an approximate analytical expression for the induced voltage across a coil due to the motion of a magnet. Oscillatory magnet motion about a point on a coil's axis is also condidered. Several simplifications to the model are considered, and their validity is investigated analytically over a range of parameters. (for experienced students)

Oscillations of a spring–magnet system damped by a conductive plate
They study the motion of a spring–magnet system that oscillates with low frequencies above a circular horizontal non-magnetizable conductive plate and develop a theoretical model. Furthermore they present a set of validating experiments.

Study of electromagnetic damping of an oscillating bar magnet and its energy budget
The oscillation of a bar magnet along the axis of a closed loop solenoid has been studied quantitatively using an ultrasonic sensor and Arduino microcontroller-based platform.
